BRAND COACHING

YOU HAVE AN IDEA. LET’S MAKE PEOPLE GIVE A SHIT ABOUT IT.

I help you turn what you’re trying to build into a brand people can understand, recognize, and connect with.

$99/WEEK

WE BUILD WHILE WE’RE WORKING TOGETHER.

This isn’t a strategy call followed by six days of figuring out how to implement it yourself.

The first week starts with your idea. We figure out what you’re actually building, what already exists, and what needs to happen first. Then we start making it real.

60–90 MINUTES

Live text-based planning and working session.

MORNING + EVENING

Daily check-ins to keep the work moving.

THROUGHOUT THE WEEK

Ongoing text-based coaching, collaboration, and real-time feedback.

We write, edit, build, review, test, and adjust together.

No long-term contract. Billed weekly. Pause or stop anytime.

If one week gives you what you need, you can stop there. If there’s more to build, we keep going.

*Reduced rates are available by request.

THREE MONTHS AGO, LAURIE HAD AN IDEA.

Laurie wanted to help women over 50 travel independently, but when we started talking about it, that was still mostly what she had: an idea and a sense of who she wanted to help.

Together, we clarified what she wanted to build and who she wanted to build it for, developed the message around it, built her website, and began creating the public presence that would allow other people to find and understand what she was offering.

Three months later, Laurie has three clients around the world and is organizing a small-group trip to Italy for ten women.

Recently, she sent me a voice message about everything that had happened since we started:

“I was a fucking mess when I met you, and now this.”

I love that line because the work belongs to Laurie. She took the risks, made the decisions, showed up, and kept moving even when building something new scared the hell out of her. I helped her take an idea she cared about and turn it into something she could actually build.

Laurie came to me with an idea. You can too.

YOUR BRAND PROBABLY DOESN’T NEED MORE CONTENT.

IT NEEDS A REASON FOR PEOPLE TO CARE.

A logo isn’t a brand. Neither is a website, an Instagram account, a color palette, or posting every morning because somebody on the internet told you consistency is king.

Those things can support a brand, but first we need to know what the hell we’re actually building, who it’s for, and why anyone should care.

POSITIONING + MESSAGING

We figure out what makes what you’re building worth paying attention to, then develop the positioning and language that make it easier to understand, recognize, and remember.

CONTENT + STORYTELLING

We turn what you know, believe, do, and experience into content worth paying attention to, without turning your entire existence into marketing.

AUDIENCE + COMMUNITY

Attention is useful. Relationships are better. We work on reaching the right people, giving them reasons to engage, and building relationships instead of collecting numbers.

BRAND + DIGITAL PRESENCE

Social media, visuals, offers, rebranding, websites, and the places your brand actually lives. You don’t have to become an influencer. You need the right presence in the right places for the people you’re trying to reach.

Your brand doesn’t need everything. It needs the right things working together.

I’VE BEEN DOING THIS LONGER THAN I’VE CALLED IT BRANDING.

I was the founding executive director of Amarillo Housing First, where I helped build the nonprofit from the ground up, including assembling its original board. I created its social media presence and worked on outreach, fundraising, community relationships, and public communication.

I’ve also worked in leadership and communications with NORML, the Panhandle Amateur Radio Club, Bike MS, SKYWARN, political campaigns, and businesses of my own.

Different missions and different audiences, but underneath all of them was the same question:

How do you make people understand why something matters enough to become part of it?

I’ve spent years answering that question, building organizations, communities, businesses, and brands that needed people to understand what they were doing and why it mattered.

Along the way, I’ve rebuilt my own brand more than once. Today, I use what I’ve learned doing that work to help other people build theirs.

And yes, I built the website you’re reading right now.

I don’t teach branding as an abstract concept. I’ve spent years building things that needed people to care.

STOP STRATEGIZING THE THING TO DEATH.

Strategy matters, but eventually you have to put something into the world and see what happens. That’s how we work.

CLARIFY

We figure out what you’re actually building, what already exists, what’s getting in the way, and where the opportunity is.

POSITION

We get clear about who it’s for, why it matters, what makes it yours, and how to communicate that in a way people understand.

BUILD

Then we make things, whether that means messaging, content, offers, social media, visuals, a website, or whatever the brand needs next.

GROW

We pay attention to what happens once people encounter it, keep what works, change what doesn’t, and use what we learn to decide what comes next.

CLARIFY → POSITION → BUILD → GROW

Then we do it again. Your brand doesn’t become real because we made a beautiful strategy document. It becomes real when other people encounter it.

NEED A WEBSITE?

I BUILD THOSE TOO.

Sometimes one of the places your brand needs to live is a website of its own.

I built Laurie’s website as we developed her brand, making sure the site actually supported what she was building rather than simply giving her somewhere to put information.

I also built the website you’re reading right now.

Website development is available separately from weekly Brand Coaching.

$600–$1,200

Pricing depends on the size and complexity of the site. We’ll determine the scope and price before I start building.

Depending on what you need, I can help with structure, messaging, copy, visual presentation, calls to action, and how the site fits into your larger brand.

Domain registration, hosting, platform subscriptions, ongoing maintenance, and other third-party expenses are separate.

Website development and Brand Coaching can work together, but neither requires the other.

THIS IS BRAND COACHING.

I’M NOT YOUR ACCOUNTANT.

Brand and business overlap, but they aren’t the same thing.

I can help you shape how an offer fits your brand, how you communicate it, and how you put it in front of the right people.

I can also tell you when we’ve reached the edge of what I know.

I don’t provide legal, accounting, financial, operational, or other professional business advice. If we hit something outside my expertise, I’ll tell you and, when appropriate, point you toward someone better qualified to help.

Part of doing good work is knowing which work is actually mine to do.

WHAT ARE WE ACTUALLY TRYING TO CHANGE?

The goal isn’t to get better at performing “brand.” It’s to understand what you’re building well enough that the decisions stop feeling like guesses.

You can explain what you do without needing five paragraphs. Your content sounds like you, you know who you’re trying to reach, and you know why you’re publishing something before you publish it.

You can use analytics and audience response as information, make decisions faster, and recognize what belongs to the brand and what doesn’t.

Most importantly, the thing that’s been bouncing around inside your head starts existing somewhere other than your head.

People can see it, understand it, and decide whether they want to be part of it.

YOU DON’T NEED THE WHOLE BRAND FIGURED OUT.

YOU NEED SOMEWHERE TO START.

Bring me the idea, the half-built website, the social account that isn’t going anywhere, the offer nobody understands, the brand you’ve outgrown, or the thing you’ve been thinking about building for the last two years.

You don’t need to clean it up before you get here. That’s the work.

Brand Coaching starts at $99/week, and we start building during the first week.

There’s no long-term commitment. If one week gives you what you need, you can stop there. If there’s more to build, we keep going.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What services does Sir Christopher The Great offer?

No. You might have a business, a personal brand, a nonprofit, a community project, a service you want to offer, something you want to rebrand, or an idea that still mostly lives in your head.

If there’s something you want to build, that’s enough to start.

HOW DO WE GET STARTED?

You don’t need a separate Clarity Session before starting Brand Coaching.

Your first week begins with a 60–90 minute live text-based working session where we figure out what you’re building, what already exists, where you’re stuck, and what needs attention first. Then we start working on it.

IS THIS BUSINESS COACHING?

No. This is Brand Coaching.

We can work on positioning, messaging, audience, content, social media, offers, websites, and how all of those pieces fit together. I don’t provide legal, financial, accounting, operational, or other professional business advice.

HOW HANDS-ON ARE YOU?

Very. Depending on what we’re building, I may draft or edit content with you, create graphics, help choose photos, review analytics, develop recurring content, work on publishing schedules, refine messaging, or help you make decisions in real time.

The goal isn’t to make you dependent on me. It’s to help you understand your brand well enough to make increasingly confident decisions about it yourself.

DO I HAVE TO COMMIT LONG TERM?

No. Brand Coaching is $99/week, billed weekly. There’s no long-term contract, and you can pause or stop anytime.

If one week gives you what you need, that’s fine. If there’s more to build, we keep going.

CAN YOU BUILD MY WEBSITE?

Yes. Website development is separate from Brand Coaching and generally costs $600–$1,200, depending on the size and complexity of the site.

Domain registration, hosting, platform subscriptions, maintenance, and other third-party expenses are separate.

BRING ME THE IDEA.

You don’t need to have your brand figured out before you fill this out. I want to know what you’re thinking about building, what already exists, where you’re getting stuck, and what you want this thing to become.

Give me enough to understand the idea. We’ll figure out the rest together.
